General Information:

MidWest LED Products carry 1-year limited warranty against defects from natural failure's.

Having an issue with our product you purchased from us? Please Contact us via our email (midwestled1@gmail.com) or our phone number (319-530-7801) with detailed description of the problem you are having with our product, including pictures and your order number.

This warranty covers defects on all MidWest LED products. The 1-year limited warranty applies for the time of the original purchaser's ownership of product, beginning on the date of purchase.

WHAT'S COVERED - (MIDWEST LED'S PRODUCTS)

At the discretion of MidWest LED, we will evaluate and accept or deny a warranty claim. We may require additional information or support to complete the evaluation, which may include returning the product to us at the customer's expense if a claim is approved we may.

Repair or replace the defective or failed product at no charge, with the same product or product of equal value.

In the event that a product has been discontinued, and an exact replacement is not available, MidWest LED will offer a store credit equal to the original product purchase price of the unavailable product, or a viable and similar replacement. This store credit may be used toward a replacement or other product of the customer's choice.

All warranty claims require proof of purchase, in the form of the purchase order number.

If warranty support is needed more than 30 days after purchase, return shipping costs to us (MIDWEST LED) will be the responsibility of the customer, if return shipping is necessary.

Wheel Light failures will be replaced with a strip unless the ring has failed

WHAT'S NOT COVERED / WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

The following conditions void or are excluded from warranty coverage:

Dismantling, modifying, or altering any part or component of the product

Improper installation, failure to follow installation instructions, or manufacturer service bulletins

Damage from abuse, misuse or acts of God

Transfer or resale of the product [warranty applies only to original purchaser]

Inability to provide proof of purchase 

Powering any of our products to a non 12v source  

Failure or refusal to provide requested information or documentation for a claim

Merchandise returned in damaged condition or materially different than originally 

Repeated or excessive warranty claims for the same product that raise concerns of potential fraud

Cutting to extend a Plug & Play product without prior approval

Failure to maintain products such as, but not limited to, wheel light brackets and magnets 

WARRANTY ABUSE / FRAUD POLICY - (MIDWEST LED)

MidWest LED Reserves the right to deny any warranty claim that appears to be fraudulent, abusive, or made in bad faith.

Examples of potential warranty abuse include, but are not limited to:

• 

Submitting multiple/ repeated warranty claims for the same product or order without returning the allegedly defective items when requested.

Failure or refusal to return products claimed to be defective for inspection when reasonably requested.  

Claims that are inconsistent, lack supporting evidence, or demonstrate patterns of misuse or misrepresentation.

Excessive or repeated warranty requests from the same individual, address or account that indicate possible misuse of the policy.

MidWest LED may require the return of any allegedly defective item prior to issuing a replacement or credit. Failure to provide the requested product[s] may result in denial of warranty claim.
